Have you ever thought about Fostering?
One of the essential parts of Raven’s Rescue is our foster homes. Without them we simply would not be able to continue saving lives. As there is an increasing numbers of stray, unwanted, neglected and abused animals we are always in need of more people to consider fostering for us so we do not have to turn away the animals that we have no space for.
It is true that some of our animals can have some emotional, psychological or behavioural issues or have suffered all kinds of abuse and neglect. The most important factor for these is time and patience. In general things get better when the foster gets a new start. We are here to support you 100%.
There are also the animals that are signed over from their previous owner for a variety of reasons. They feel they can no longer provide what is necessary, owner may pass away, or they lose their accommodation to name a few. These can be well balanced animals who have had an unlucky break.

Fostering is a rewarding gift. We have minimal criteria and we will always do our best to fit the animal into the most suitable environment.
Dogs cannot live with any children under 5 years. This is stated in our insurance policy and is a rule we have to abide by. Cats and other animals are not subject to this rule, however we would advised 2 years of age.
Secure fencing is needed for a dog. This means good height, no gaps, and secure gate.
If your property is rented from a private landlord you will need their written permission.
Resident dogs and cats must be up-to-date with vaccinations and neutered. Those people who are working are fine, so long as provisions are made. Some dogs may need toilet breaks.

We provide everything you need to take care of your foster, all you need is to give love, time and support.
If you think you can offer a space in your home and heart, please give us a call or email so we can discuss it further.
